Yep, saves with the bug are perfectly fine now! Thanks, Artur. I've been having a blast.
EDIT: About as soon as I said that, the same save ran into another crash bug. I sent you the zipped savefile. It's likely unrelated.

Hey, I've just run into the issue slowing down another of my saves significantly in 5.0.1 (10-20 second halt between turns), so I'll be waiting for the patch and I'll see if I can confirm it fixes that one.

EDIT: Also, I'm not really sure why the discovered_world directory is missing, given that it's present in my zipped and unzipped versions. Maybe it got messed up somewhere in the decompression process.

I would like to add that I convinced one of my close friends to buy the game, and it occurs similarly even on a much, much beefier PC than mine with wildly different specs, so it's very likely this is a common issue.

Thank you very much for prompt attention to it; it's been an inconvenience at best and run-killing at worst.

I'm not entirely sure what any of this means, or why, but these errors are consistently generated during the rain, and the game slows down to such a degree that I have to close and re-open it if I want to play. It's crippling enough that I have wanted to restart saves just because I don't think I will reasonably get past the turns that the rain lasts (or else, suffer the rain yet again). It seems to get worse the more times it happens in a certain save, but I'm not entirely certain on that.

It happens consistently during rain, and ceases when the rain ends. Error logs below (some of them likely not actually related to the rain, but all included and unchanged in case it helps).

EDIT: Actually, this time it has completely bricked the save. I'm keeping it around in case it needs looking at, but it's completely unplayable.

Pilgrims with Smite equipped with a Stone or other ranged weapon can ignore sight and continue to Smite every turn without using up the Stone, sometimes turning them into invisible turrets which do 10-15 damage per turn. Really rough. Lost a character or two to it so far.

I was spam-crafting clubs as part of the beginning of a low-level run and happened to get enough intelligence equipment to slam my 10 int up to 20. An unfortunately-fortunate consequence was that I managed to craft a Club that ended up being the artifact Qurasil's Mercy, with full stats and description. To my dismay, it did in fact crash the game upon equipping, and upon reloading, the weapon had lost its description, kept the stats, and kept its crash-inducing behavior (presumably due to this interaction being unintended).

Salvaging it got it out of my inventory, at least, but that's all the testing I did.

This is still an issue. If someone is on the other side of the stairs, you can get stuck with zero capacity to do very much about it. I have had multiple characters die just from being "afraid" of going down the stairs because there are people on the other side. What I would probably suggest is something like how this is handled in Caves of Qud, where trying to move down the stairs results in an attack against the creature blocking them, or otherwise a prompt that asks if you want to do so, shove past them, etc.
